For crime, emphasized that “thefts, burglaries and murders have decreased”, adding that “we need more police officers on the street. This will be done more digitally so that the police can go out and do their job with more patrols.”

Mr Mitsotakis has made it clear that he will not have “no tolerance for police violence”, saying that “we cannot tolerate police violence that goes beyond the context and the law.”

Asked about the university police and the extent to which this project failed, he stressed that this body already exists and “is patrolling the university campus in Zografa and Aristotelio.”

For universities he said that “on the whole the situation is better, not as we would like, a lot of coats have been torn. This is a battle that is gradually being won.”
