Former Prime Minister of Italy, Silvio Berlusconitook discharged from San Raffaele Hospital, Milan, in which he was in the hospital for more than 40 days. We will remind, Cavalier was in the hospital after a respiratory infection.

Berlusconi’s health has deteriorated in recent years. The former Italian prime minister underwent heart surgery in 2016 and was hospitalized several times after contracting the coronavirus three years ago.

This month Berlusconi published two video messages from the hospital to party members and supporters. In fact, he stressed at the Forza Italia conference that he was ready to return to action.

Berlusconi was visited last week by two of his main political allies, Melon and Minister of Transport and Deputy Prime Minister, Matteo Salviniwho said Cavalier was recovering and in “good spirits”.

There is no successor to replace Berlusconi at the helm of Forza Italia, and it is unclear whether his party can hold on without him at the helm.
