University of Cluj narrowly beat FC Hermannstadt 2-1 after a goal in the last minute of extra time, in a match without stakes for both teams, in the last stage of the Superliga play-offs

While Hermannstadt have been thinking more about the holiday, already freed from the worries of relegation, Cluj University is preparing for next week’s Romanian Cup final against Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe.

Sibyans opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, when Balaure executed a corner kick with his foot, and Raul Oprut powerfully shot under the bar from inside the penalty area.

In the 58th minute, the score was equalized, a pass from the goalkeeper of “Gorcha” reached Ovidiu Bika, and the midfielder of the Yoana team, Ovidiu Sabau, did a great job between two defenders of the opponents and completed the shot.

The University of Cluj struck in the fifth minute of overtime after Dan Nistor converted a penalty.
