representative of the government of Ukraine Igor Djokova told Japan’s Kyodo news agency that the Ukrainian president would “carefully monitor the situation on the battlefield and then make a final decision.”
Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishidaduring his visit to Ukraine invited Zelensky to participate online at the G7 summitwhich starts tomorrow.
Japan is currently chairing the G7. The G7 includes the US, Germany, France, Italy, the UK, Japan and Canada.
