Some time after the statement with which George Katrugalos announcing his decision to withdraw from the SYRIZA vote, government spokesman Akis Skertzos emphasizes in a statement that “we all realized that they were just caught in the act” and that Mr. Katrugalos “went out badly because he is a ‘witness'”.

Earlier, Mr. Katrugalos said in a statement that he was taking on “political responsibility” and that he was “withdrawing from the election campaign” while referring to “a theatrical performance organized by New Democracy.”
