Rimac Nevera continues to break records: the electric hypercar spent a busy day on the test track in Germany. Croatian supercar beat 23 entries on the same day at Automotive Testing Papenburg (ATP), where she made the most of the four-kilometer straight.

Representatives of Dewesoft and RaceLogic were ready to check the time completely independently.

World champion

Equipped with road-legal Michelin Cup 2 R tires, the Rimac Nevera reached 100 km/h in 1.74 seconds, beating the official time of 1.85 seconds announced by Rimac. The Croatian firm clarifies that the asphalt was not specially prepared for the test.

As CEO Mate Rimak has already announced on social media, the Nevera has set a new world record in the production car category, becoming the fastest to accelerate from 0 to 400 km/h and back to 0 km/h with an official time 29.94 seconds. The previous record was from 2019, when a Koenigsegg Regera clocked 31.49 seconds in this exercise during a session at Roda Airport, Sweden.

In addition to the records, the Nevera wore a special livery as a tribute to Mate Rimac’s BMW e-M3, an all-electric E30 3 Series from 1984 that broke more than one record in 2012.
