Getting a driver’s license can be very expensive. Indeed, and even if it clearly varies depending on the region, you need to calculate an average of 1000 to 2000 euros to have a chance to get a precious sesame. And this is subject to passing the exam on the first attempt, which is clearly not systematic. Therefore, it is not surprising that many candidates throw in the towel or that some finally do not surrender their licenses. This can obviously be very difficult for everyday life, especially for those who live in areas that are poorly served by public transport.

Good idea

Currently, there are still aids that allow some to pass the exam at a more reasonable cost. Because it costs an average of 1,804 euros to try to get a precious sesame! Among them is the CPF, or personal training account. The latter is credited during work and provides an opportunity to finance studies in various areas. And it can be used to pay for his driver’s license. But what to do when you are young, do not work yet and only have a job search permit is required ? Well, then everything is quite complicated. But now the association of 40 million motorists has a very good idea.

Facilitate access to permissions

The organization responsible for the protection of drivers proposes to createportability for CPF. In particular, the association would like parents to be able to use this account to fund their children’s driver’s license. A measure that was already mentioned during the last reform, but which was ultimately not implemented. However, 40 million motorists point out that only a third of French people actually use this personal learning account, which remains inactive most of the time.
