Erling Haaland, candy and Hannah Montana

Lundal recounted several incidents from 2015 when Haaland played for Bruin. He recalls being late for the U15 national team meeting and having a funny moment as he prepared to board the elevator.

“Then Erling came running and asked me if I could press the elevator button as fast as possible so the coaches wouldn’t see him with the candy bags.

He watched Hannah Montana (not the kid’s show starring Miley Cyrus) without any embarrassment and laughed a lot. Erling is a wonderful person and living with him was incredibly fun” – Magnus Lundahl for TV2.

Lundal could never have imagined that his do-it-yourself childhood friend would end up at Manchester City and break record after record in the Premier League.

“First of all, it was a really fun experience. Erling is a very sweet and funny guy. He’s become so good and one of the best footballers in the world, it’s great. I think his mentality is something special, and I think that’s had a lot to do with how far he’s come.” – Magnus Lundahl.

Other lesser-known facts about Erling Haaland: He’s shy about admitting which video games he prefers, he eats hearts and beef liver to stay in shape (as well as his father’s lasagna before every home game), he pinches opponents and Leon Goretzka (Bayern Munich ) said that the Norwegian had stomach problems next to him during the quarter-final match of the Champions League.
