
Over the past 24 hours, nine people have needed the intervention of Salvamont teams to rescue them from the mountainous terrain. Fortunately, none of them were hurt.
“In the last 24 hours, the Salvamont National Dispatch Service received 4 calls requesting the urgent intervention of mountain rescuers. In the case of these interventions, 9 people were saved without having to be transferred to the ambulance service or SMURD,” Salvamont Romania announced on Sunday.
According to the cited source, two calls concerned the municipality of Salvamont Braşov, one each for Salvamont Cluj and Salvamont Suceava.
Also, 17 calls were received asking for advice and information about various tourist routes in the mountainous area.
According to meteorologists, the snow cover is stable in the Southern and Western Carpathians.
