FC Voluntari is on a roll in the play-offs and has reached 12 matches without failure in the Super League.

The team coached by Liviu Ciobotariu also won against FC Botosani in a match played at the Angelo Jordenescu Stadium.

Icelander Sigurjónsson opened the scoring in the 23rd minute from Adam Nemec’s cross, after the home striker had drawn several opponents.

Although the Moldovans had at least 18 scoring opportunities, they did not score a single shot on goal.

In extra time Ricardinho dispelled emotions and scored 2:0.
