The most important music competition in Europe, Eurovision, will be hosted by Great Britain this year from May 9 to 13. In 2022, the Eurovision trophy arrived in Ukraine, but for organizational reasons it was decided that in 2023 the competition would be held in Liverpool.
Along with Alesha Dixon and Hannah Weddingham, the show is hosted by Ukrainian artist Yulia Sanina. As in the previous edition, Eurovision wants to contribute to the promotion of peace in the European community, apart from the musical spectacle.
The regulations of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 (67th edition) differ from previous years. Impressive audiences are empowered. Thus, the choice of teams to the final will be determined only by the audience. In addition, it will be possible to vote online even from countries that do not participate in the competition. The final result will be determined based on the average value between the jury’s scores and the public’s votes.
