An 18-year-old young man was detained for 24 hours for destruction or false presentation of a signal and theft for the purpose of use.
The police inspector of the Constanta district announced that the young man was imprisoned in the detention and preventive detention center and that he will be presented to the prosecutor’s office next to the Mejidia court on Friday, News.ro reported.
Police officers from the Transport Regional Police of Constanta – Rail Transport/Naval Police Međidia were informed on Wednesday that a man got into a parked locomotive and set it in motion.
The police established the identity of an 18-year-old boy who moved the locomotive to a distance of about 200 meters.
