EL.AS officers proceeded to arrest two women for pimping. in Thessaloniki, as it turned out, a 40-year-old woman was sent to an orphanage.

In particular, during an inspection conducted in western Thessaloniki, it was found that a 31-year-old woman ran a brothel without a license with a 59-year-old employee. A 40-year-old foreign woman without a professional certificate worked there, and a 59-year-old received her income on behalf of the 31-year-old and also gave part of it to the extradited person.

It should be noted that the recent seal of the shelter was violated by the municipality of Thessaloniki.

A 31-year-old man is under investigation by the Investigation Department of Thessaloniki in a case initiated in 2020 on human trafficking at the expense of a minor and pimping.

Authorities accused the two arrested foreign women of pimping and breaking seals. They will be taken to the competent prosecutor’s office.
