According to DIICOT, the prosecutor’s office detained three people for the crimes of creating an organized criminal group, illegal drug trafficking, receiving a bribe, giving a bribe, aiding and abetting a criminal, disclosing official or non-public information, illegal access to an IT system, and driving a vehicle while disqualified. Later, the Bucharest Court issued a warrant of preventive arrest for 30 days on their behalf.
Prosecutors say it is a high-risk drug-trafficking group created during 2022, whose members organized and coordinated repeated operations with heroin.
After they got hold of the drugs, the heroin was prepared for sale by mixing it with various substances in order to make as much profit as possible. Later it was sold in Bucharest, only to people whom the group members had complete confidence in.
During the investigation on April 15, a batch of heroin weighing about one kilogram was discovered and seized.

DIICOT prosecutors claim that one of the detainees is an employee of the judicial police, who is accused of aiding and abetting the organized crime group between November 2022 and April 2023.
According to the investigation, in March the police officer informed one of the group’s leaders that he was undergoing criminal proceedings, handed over both the subject of the case and those involved in the case, and advised how to act. to avoid criminal liability.
