About becoming a father for the first time, Robert De Niro said in an interview with ET Canada while the 79-year-old actor was promoting the comedy film “About My Father”, reports The Independent and The Huffington Post.
Journalist Britney Blair started the question by saying, “I know you have six kids,” to which the actor corrected her, saying, “Seven, actually. A baby has just been born.”
A representative for De Niro later confirmed to the publication that the actor is now the father of seven children, although it is currently unclear who the mother is.
De Niro has two children from his first wife, Dianne Abbott: Drena (51 years old) and Rafael (46 years old).
The 79-year-old actor also has 27-year-old twins Aaron and Julian with ex-girlfriend Tookie Smith.
He later remarried and has two children with ex-wife Grace Hightower, Elliot, 25, and Helen, 11.
On March 22, he was seen out in public with his girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, who appeared to be pregnant.
