FCSB and Sepsi end the 7th stage of the playoffs with an important match only for the hosts who are fighting for the title, in a situation where Sepsi can’t get anything more from this championship and focuses on the final of the Romanian Cup.

FCSB have 40 points, six points behind leaders Farul who have already played at this stage (7-2 at home to Rapid) and are coming off a 2-1 away win over Craiova University.

The Elias Haralambous side are unbeaten at home in this play-off (FCSB are unbeaten at home in five games, including regular season games) but have conceded a goal in each of the six games played so far in this phase championship

FCSB’s top scorer is Andrea Compagno with 19 goals in the Super League (the Italian is the second top scorer in the championship after Croatian Marko Dugandzic from Rapid with 20 goals).

“This is a difficult match. The opponents are quality, but we also have to play well and win all three points. To stay in the fight for the title, we have to win and stay close to Lighthouse,” said Elias Haralambous.

Sepsi are 6th with 25 points, 9 points behind 5th placed Rapid and have no chance of qualifying for Europe via the league, only the Romanian Cup if they win the final against U Cluj.

Cristiano Bergodi’s side drew 1-1 at home to Farul in the previous round, but have scored in each of the six play-off matches played so far (one win, one draw and four losses).

Mario Rondán and Alexandra Tudori, who have each scored nine goals in this competitive season, are the top scorers for Sepsi, a team that has lost all of its away games in the playoffs (in fact, they haven’t won away from home since December 2, 2022 , 4-1 with UTA in Arad).

FCSB have won all three matches this season against Sepsi, both in the regular season, 1-0 away (Compagno 51p) in the round and 1-0 at home (October 21 Popescu) in return, as well as in the first leg of the play-off stage, 2 -1 on “Sf. Gheorghe” (Compagno 8, Flor. Coman 19 respectively, Radunovich, 6a).

It should be noted that Sepsi have not won in the FCSB capital since 2021, when they won with a score of 2:1.

Superbet offers odds of 1.45 on the PsF1 prediction: the home team leads at half-time or dominates at the end of the match FCSB – Sepsi.
