The unexpected came before kick-off in the XIII Rugby match between the Catalan Dragons and St Helens. A bull appeared on the field, which caused a lot of emotions among players and spectators.

It all took place in Perpignan, and before the rugby match there was a short presentation of the bulls awarded at the last agricultural exhibition in Paris.

However, one of the bulls wanted the status of “holder”, went to the field and put on a show.

On the way to the green, the bull dragged its owner, who unsuccessfully tried to prevent the animal from going onto the field.

After a few sprints and a leisurely walk on the grass, the bull ran out of adrenaline and was eventually retrieved by the owner.

No one was hurt in the spectacular incident and the Catalan Dragons ran out 24-12 winners against the Saints.
