They left their four-month-old baby in the car and went shopping at a department store in eastern Thessaloniki.

The reason is his 22-year-old mother and 27-year-old vehicle owner, who were arrested for endangering a minor, together.

It all happened at noon on Thursday (05.04), when a passer-by noticed a baby in a parked car near a department store in the Pilaia area and immediately notified the police.

According to his testimony, the baby was alone for at least 40 minutes, and the car was locked with a half-open window. According to APE, police from the Pilaia-Ortiatis department found two women of Albanian origin inside the department store and arrested them.
