The widow of a murdered journalist Giorgos Karaivaz went to Evelpidon today, Pifile a complaint in support of the prosecution.

“I support the testimony I gave in the first hours of the murder. I don’t know anyone to point to,” he said, and continued, “We, his family, insist that justice be done in the name of his memory. We are not going to justify ourselves, because only by a miracle will we be justified for the return of Giorgos,” said the widow of G. Karaivaz.

Her lawyer, Apostolos Lytras, noted that “the necessary evidence is there” and the Karaivaz side expects the evidence to be included in the case file.

The two brothers, who were arrested and charged with first-degree murder, were taken into custody yesterday after pleading guilty at an inquest, denying any involvement.
