βBy choosing to purchase Rafale fighter jets and FDI frigates, Greece has acquired state-of-the-art equipment that enhances the interoperability of the air and navy forces of the two countries, paving the way for defense cooperation that will last for many decades. This cooperation, which is the result of decisions at the highest level of the Greek and French governments, is carried out in practice by Greek and French companies,” is stated in the same text, according to which:
βThe exchange of know-how between the two countries and the training of highly qualified competent personnel will ensure the maintenance of modern aircraft, ships and weapons systems. A clear example of such cooperation is the fact that Naval Group, after more than 50 contracts involving the participation of 20 Greek companies in the construction and maintenance of FDI frigates, will sign several more subcontracts under DEFEA. In addition, French companies such as THALES are now including Greek companies in their value chain. All of the above will bring more activity and new jobs to Greece.β
