The White House, citing US intelligence data, announced yesterday that the losses of the Russian military in Ukraine over the past five months have reached 100,000 people, including more than 20,000 dead.
Russia last released its casualty figures in September, when Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced that 5,937 Russian soldiers had been killed in Ukraine.
