His armed forces Israel shot and killed a Palestinian teenager during a morning raid, sparking clashes in a refugee camp outside the occupied West Bank city of Jericho, Palestinian health officials said.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that Jibril Kamal, 17, died from a gunshot to the head and six others were injured in the raid, three of them in critical condition, according to the same ministry.
The Israeli military said that during a raid on the Aqabat-Jabr refugee camp, soldiers opened fire on suspects who shot at them, with targets identified.
