Iryna Bara (235 WTA) won the final of the ITF W60 tournament in Istanbul, beating Turkey’s Berfa Cengiz (299 WTA) after three sets with the score 6(2)-7, 6-4, 6-1.

Iryna Bara rose to the 217th place of the WTA

After losing the first set on a tie-break, the Romanian decided the second set, despite the return of the athlete from Turkey at the end.

In the decisive set, Bara did not give up the game and won after two hours and 12 minutes.

To reach the final, Iryna Bara beat Lina Gyorcheska (North Macedonia, 241 WTA), Mylin Nuudi (Estonia, 571 WTA), Kateryna Maklakova (Russia, 420 WTA) and Ilai Yoruk (Turkey, 569 WTA).

The ITF Istanbul tournament was held from April 24 to 30 on clay, had a total prize pool of $60,000, and started with 32 players in the main draw.
