Another 363 of its citizens Indonesia arrived home safely today Sudanwith the second flight of the country’s national carrier, Garuda Indonesia, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jakarta.

The conflict between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) fighters has led to numerous operations to evacuate diplomats and foreign nationals from a number of countries from Sudan, including countries such as Indonesia, the United States, Japan, Germany and the United Kingdom.

The first group of Indonesian citizens to leave Sudan arrived home on Friday, while 748 citizens have left Sudan so far.

“Our government helped to release not only Indonesian citizens, but also a number of foreign nationals,” the foreign ministry said in a statement, without disclosing details.
