
Traffic is complicated on Sunday at noon on DN 1 Ploiesti – Brasov, on the way to the resorts on Vala Prahova, as well as on A2 Bucharest – Constanta and on A4 Ovidiu – Agija.
The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police reports that traffic values on the country’s main roads are as follows:
* DN 1 Ploiesti – Braşov: agglomeration on the rise to Valea Prahovai stations, between Breaza and Comarnic, and within the radius of Buşteni and Azuga stations, a column of vehicles formed in both directions;
* DN 7 Pitesti – Sibiu: traffic is normal;
* Highway A1 Bucharest – Pitesti: traffic is moving normally;
* Highway A2 Bucharest – Constanța: heavy traffic in both directions at km 148, in the area of the Borča bridge, where repair work is being carried out;
* Highway A3 Bucharest – Ploiesti: normal traffic;
* Motorway A4 Ovidiu – Agija: difficult traffic on the descent to DN 2A, area of Ovidiu;
* DN 2A (E87), Ovidiu/CT bridge: heavy traffic in both directions due to repair works.
On Sunday and Monday, the movement of road vehicles with a maximum permissible mass of more than 7.5 tons, except those intended exclusively for the transport of people, is prohibited in the context of Labor Day on the highway A2 Bucharest – Constanța, on DN 7 Pitesti – Rimnik Vilca – Mi we also inform about DN 39 Agija – Mangalia. The restrictions apply on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Monday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The police recommend that drivers show respect for other road users by announcing their intention to change lanes or direction of traffic after taking appropriate insurance. Also, drivers should avoid risky overtaking and increase the safe distance between vehicles. (Agerpress)
