
Hellenic Party chairman Dimitris Michakis filed an appeal to the Supreme Court on Thursday against Ilias Kasidiaris’ National Hellenic Party, in which he is demanding a ban on the use of the name “Hellenes”.
Mr. Michakis filed an application with the Prosecutor’s Office of the Supreme Court on the participation of his party in the parliamentary elections on May 21, 2023.
In addition, Mr. Michakis demands that the name “Hellenes” be removed from social networks and wherever it was posted or published by the party of Ilias Kasidiaris, as well as with his announcement in the media, in order to recognize that the “Hellenes” party has existed since 2012 with the founder.
