PAOK Thessaloniki suffered their fourth defeat in the Greek playoffs

PAOK, who reached the final of the Greek Cup, are not doing so well in the league, where they suffered their fourth defeat in their last five games.

Rezvan Lucescu once again has reasons to be unhappy with the refereeing, having criticized the manner of the game against Panathinaikos in the previous stage.

In the 8th minute, defender Yannis Karagas tackled the opponent hard, the referee showed him a yellow card. Two minutes after reviewing the VAR footage, German referee Tobias Stieler overturned the yellow card and sent off the PAOK player.

Outnumbered, AEK opened the scoring in the 21st minute through Switzerland’s Steven Zuber and added three minutes later through Harold Mukuda.

In the end, in the 77th minute, Levi Garcia pulled away for the home team, and the Spanish Paulo Fernandez scored in the 86th minute.

The result leaves PAOK fourth in the Greek play-offs, 15 points behind leaders AEK Athens, who they will face in the Cup final.
