OUR Hugh grant prepares to introduce the audience to the next character he plays, and it’s none other than the tiny orange Oomba Loompa from the upcoming film.”Wonka“. This is the story of the famous chocolatier Willy Wonka.
Starring We Meet Him Timothy Salame, which tells the story of Wonka and the chocolate factory. But the biggest surprise was Grant as the first Umba Luba that Wonka met. In the world of British writer Roald Dahl, umba-lumbas are tiny servants, helpers, problematic humanoid creatures.
“Working with Hugh was a dream come true,” Salame said on stage during CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Nevada, adding that the actor is “one of the best we have.”
Wonka reunites Grant with Paddington II director Paul King. The British actor recently attended a press conference to promote Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
The first teaser for Wonka was shown at CinemaCon but is not yet available online. Salame stated that on set there was “a lot of chocolate and swimming in real chocolate. It’s one of the strangest experiences of my career.”
The film is expected to premiere on December 15, 2023.
