The Department of Educational Programs of the Directorate of Collections and Exhibitions of the Acropolis Museum, in cooperation with the Department of Integration and Support of the Special Secretariat, organized a meeting at the Museum with teachers from the Reception Centers for Unaccompanied Minors of Attica to exchange views and work together. develop a program that meets the needs and interests of unaccompanied minors.

According to the Acropolis Museum in its announcement, the opinions of the 30 teachers who took part in the meeting agreed that it is possible to start with a program dedicated to the ancient professions. Thus, the Department of Educational Programs of the Acropolis Museum developed the action “Arts, Crafts and Professions in Ancient Athens”.

This is a program in the form of a search game in the halls of the Museum using portable electronic devices (tablets), which will be designed as a creative workshop, which will contribute to the empirical connection of children with the Museum and enrich their experience in this.

The first period of the action will take place in May-July.
