Gone are the days when Peugeot was on the verge of bankruptcy! Because the Sochaux manufacturer has since recovered well and especially enjoyed great commercial success for several years. A new start for the company thanks to convincing products and a complete range, which is completely renewed. And we can say that the brand has been actively working for several months, multiplying announcements and other novelties. We are thinking in particular of the recently updated Peugeot 508, but also of new electric e-308, among others. Not to mention the slightly redesigned e-208 with a new battery.

What is the date?

Now it’s time for another model to be updated. it’s about Peugeot 2008, and in particular its 100% electric version, simply named e-2008. For several months now, you can see the small SUV, still heavily camouflaged during road tests. But soon he will finally show himself, this time in the final form. If the brand has not yet presented its design, it should not be too long. Since in a few days there will be an official presentation of this new version, or rather next May 4. It is enough to endure your pain!

What changes?

But then what should we expect from this new version? First of all, to a slightly updated design, no doubt heavily inspired by the new facelifted 508. But that’s not all, because the mechanics have to evolve as well. Power will be revised upwards, as on E-208, increases to 156 horsepower. The battery should reach 52 kWh for a run of about 400 kilometers, against 320 at the moment. Cooled versions will also be developed, in particular with 48 volt light hybridization.
