Another fan-motivated episode took place on Sunday evening (April 23) on Laconikis Street in Kalamata. It all happened shortly after 23.00, during the “derby” for the Greek championship.

According to ERT, a group of 6-7 young people approached two people, aged 31 and 36, respectively, who were near a cafe on Lakonikis Street, and asked them to give them the shirts they were wearing.

After listening to their exhortations without much resistance, then, according to witnesses, one of the group of young people hit the 31-year-old youth with a glass object on the head, just above the eye, as a result of which he received bodily injuries and injuries. to be transported by EKAV ambulance to Kalamata General Hospital, where he received 30 stitches.

A victim of the attack yesterday filed a lawsuit against unknown persons and the Kalamata Security Department proceeded to arrest the 22-year-old man for the specific incident, who is expected to appear before a prosecutor today, Tuesday.
