The Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) of the European Union (EU), which will meet on April 24, 2023 in Luxembourg, will begin with an exchange of views on Russia’s aggression against Ukraine after a short video conference by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. of Ukrainian Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, reports Agerpres.

The meeting of the Council will be preceded by an informal breakfast with the participation of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Maria Pejchynovych Burych and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iceland Tordis Kolbrun Reikfjörður. Also, as part of the meeting, a working lunch will be held with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili.

As for non-legislative topics, the Council will discuss the EU’s action plan on the geopolitical consequences of Russia’s war of aggression and will be briefed on current affairs. As part of this agenda item, the ministers will discuss: Sudan, Tunisia, the Republic of Moldova, China and Lebanon.
