A man from Pitesti, who deliberately hit a person with whom he had a conflict with his car, was taken under judicial control. The police established that he did not have a driver’s license.

“On April 21 of this year, the police of the Pitesti Traffic Bureau were notified of a conflict situation in which a man who allegedly drove a van without a driver’s license injured another person as a result of the maneuvers performed,” IPJ Argeş reported on Sunday, News.ro reported.

The quoted source clarified that after checks, it was established that a 51-year-old man from Pitesti had a conflict with two other people in the area of ​​Pieza Ceair.

“In addition, against the background of the conflict situation, the person in question, without a driver’s license, drove a van on the street on May 9 in Pitesti, where he maneuvered the vehicle in a threatening manner, so that one of Two people was injured by hitting the mirror of another vehicle,” – the source added.

It is being investigated under judicial control

The law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings on the fact of committing crimes related to driving without a license, hitting or committing other violence and violation of public order.

“On the evening of April 21, after applying a conditional preventive measure, a 51-year-old man was detained for 24 hours in accordance with the resolution. During the day of April 22, the relevant person was presented to the prosecutor’s office at the Pitesti court, which established an investigation under the preventive measure of judicial control for 60 days,” the police also reported.

The man under investigation is not allowed to enter the square where the incident took place, nor to go out into the nearby streets.
