At least five Russian rockets hit Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine and surrounding areas late Saturday night, damaging buildings, according to local authorities.
Russian forces have been hitting targets inside Ukraine with missiles and drones for months now in an attempt to destroy critical infrastructure.
The governor of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Sinegubov, wrote on Telegram that one rocket hit a house in the village of Kotlyary, south of Kharkiv, and another caused a fire in the city itself.
