In a post on the official Twitter account of the tournament, the organizers announced that Novak Djokovic announced his withdrawal from the competition in 2023.
Just a few days ago, Rafael Nadal announced to his fans that he will not return to the court (after an injury sustained at the Australian Open) at the tournament in Madrid. The Iberian won the Caja Magica tournament five times.
