The Police Department 11 in Bucharest was notified on Thursday evening of a case of aggression in a fast food restaurant, where a restaurant employee was allegedly attacked with a sharp object by a man with whom he had a controversial discussion. The victim was taken to the hospital, now the police are looking for the attacker.

The Metropolitan Police announced in a statement sent to the press on Friday that “on April 21, 2023, around 00:00, police officers of the Bucharest Municipality Police Headquarters – Section 11 were alerted that an employee of a fast food restaurant had been attacked with cutting objects by a man with whom he had a controversial discussion.”

According to the quoted source, the police went to the scene to take the first measures, the victim was picked up by a medical team, which took him to the hospital.

The police are looking for the aggressor.

“Investigative actions to identify and search for a person suspected of committing beatings or other violent acts are ongoing, under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office of the 3rd district court,” the capital police said.

According to some sources, the place where the aggression allegedly took place is Shaormeria Băneasa in Calea Vitan.

The second case in one day

This incident happened just hours after a patron of the Nuba club in Bucharest was injured by a customer on Thursday. The perpetrator fled, the police are looking for him, and the victim was taken to the hospital.

Judicial sources told HotNews.ro that the aggressor in this case is a foreign citizen and allegedly fled Romania as early as Thursday.

Jean Sassou, the owner of Nuba, who was hospitalized after the incident, said that the attacker had been following him for the past few days and periodically came to the place where he filmed on his phone.

The attack happened on Thursday afternoon, and surveillance footage shows a man sitting at a table on the terrace of the Nuba restaurant standing up and attacking Jean Sassa. Another video shows the attacker running away with a knife-like object in his hand.
