President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan mentioned in the Hagia Sophia, at the event on the occasion of iftar and the end of the fast in the city of Denizli.
“Even the restoration of the Hagia Sophia in its original form, according to the legacy of Mohammed the Conqueror, is enough to symbolize the process of re-rapprochement of our country with the values of civilization.“, Erdogan stressed.
“We want to turn these pleasant events into the cornerstone of a new development that will take our country and people to the top,” he said and added:
“Undoubtedly, we will achieve the rise of our country by the strength that we draw from the Holy Quran. Throughout history, we have achieved this in different regions and over a thousand years in Anatolia, and, God willing, we will achieve it again.”
