“It is difficult to say whose contribution to European and Euro-Atlantic security is greater than the contribution of our soldiers, Ukrainian men and women, who defend freedom at the cost of their lives,” the President of Ukraine emphasized. “I am grateful to all our partners who support us in this regard,” Zelenskyy added.
He said he spoke with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who on Thursday made his first visit to Ukraine since the war began, about the defense of Ukraine, as well as the defense of “everything based on the rules of the international order.”

We are preparing for our active actions on the front line – they are inevitable,” Zelenskyi said, referring to the expected Ukrainian counteroffensive. “We are also preparing for the NATO summit in Vilnius, which is scheduled for the summer of this year, but its content is currently being worked out. I am grateful to Mexico for paying attention to Ukraine and for supporting our point of view on international security, on the need for the widest possible unity of the world to protect international law. Because if the law does not work, the threat to life will only grow. Bandits and aggressors will become even bolder. We have to prevent this,” Zelenskyy said.
“In fact, the negotiations with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, which took place today in Kyiv, were devoted to the same issue – the protection of Ukraine, the protection of the entire international order based on rules, the protection of life. “, the head of the Ukrainian state noted.
