Rezvan Burleanu collects 5,000 euros per month from the Federation

Rezvan Burleanu won his third term as president of the Romanian Football Federation last year and is now considering running for a fourth term.

Although the rules prohibit him from doing so, an FRF official said there is an aspect that would allow him to run again.

“I have not yet decided whether I will run for office or not. It is technically possible. It was also used by the LPF. I will not hide it from you, right now at meetings with clubs and associations in the country I was asked about it. From a technical point of view, this possibility exists. I haven’t made a decision.

If we go back in time, in 2014 my mission was to win the election to participate in this reform. In 2018, our mission was to protect what we started. At the moment, I am in the service of clubs.” Rezvan told Burlean.

In addition, Rezvan Burleanu told the Digi Sport show what salary he receives in the Romanian Football Federation.

“About 5,000 euros per month is my salary. I haven’t posted yet, but I will. I never hid. We predict that for the first time this year we will reach a budget of more than 31 million euros exclusively from private funds.

First, I always answered. The daily allowance is the same as that of the former president, 250 euros.” – he concluded.
