A mother who was breastfeeding her 42-day-old boy in the central dining room saw him suddenly collapse and get a bruise, according to ERT. Naturally, he panicked as he raised his voice.
At the next table at that time, a couple of firefighters on duty happened to be on duty, who heard screams and rushed to help, providing first aid. Thanks to their knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, they were able to return the child.
An EKAB ambulance was also called to the scene and arrived immediately, and the infant was taken to Kalamata General Hospital.
According to ERT from the hospital, the boy is in excellent condition, as all tests performed on him were good, and yesterday he stayed at the children’s clinic for preventive purposes so that doctors could monitor his health.
