New strike movements in German airports plans the Ver.di syndicate for Thursday and Friday. Flight cancellations and long delays are expected.
According to the union statement, Passenger, baggage and goods screening workers at Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn and Hamburg airports are called to strike from Wednesday evening to Friday and Saturday evening.
Ver.di notes that its negotiations with the Federal Association of Aviation Security Companies (BDLS) have not yet been completed.
