The Prime Minister and his family are in Tinos for the Easter holiday.
He greeted the townspeople who attended the service with him and wished him a happy Sunday in an online post.
“Happy birthday, health, strength and success to all Greek women and men around the world,” wrote Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Previously, Mr. Mitsotakis was at the Panagia Evangelistria to witness the so-called first Resurrection, where it also says “God is risen”.
He spoke and exchanged wishes with the citizens, and later Kyriakos Mitsotakis will send his Easter message to all Greek women and men, a message of unity, love and optimism.
Yesterday, the Prime Minister attended the epitaph and then the procession, accompanied by his wife Mareva Grabowski.
In the evening, Kyriakos Mitsotakis will take part in the Midnight Mass and the Resurrection Ceremony.
