
In 57 arrests for human trafficking – use of illegal firecrackers and sparklers, ELAS carried out inspections conducted from 3 to 15 April.
The purpose of inspections, according to ELAS, in addition to compliance with the law, is to prevent and prevent accidents that pose a risk of serious injury and death of people from the burning of pyrotechnic products during the Easter holidays.
In particular, for the specified period of 12 days, a total of 643 checks were carried out, 50 violations were confirmed and 57 people were detained, 305,053 pyrotechnic products were seized.
As indicated by the Greek police headquarters, the control will continue with unrelenting intensity during the Easter holidays.
