Lorenzo Musetti defeated Yannick Sinner at ATP Monte Carlo

After pulling off the surprise of the tournament and knocking out the ATP leader, Lorenzo Musetti (21 ATP) stopped in the quarters in Monte Carlo.

The Italian was defeated by Yannick Sinner (8 ATP), an athlete currently coached by Darren Cahill.

Grishnyk won the match in two sets, at the end of the match, which lasted one hour and 16 minutes.

Yannick Sinner won the first set quite categorically, losing only two games to his opponent, and in the second act he maintained an aggressive game.

Although he showed little signs of recovery at 3-2, Lorenzo Musetti did not have enough power to stop his compatriot, who qualified in the tournament’s boxing.

Yannick Sinner will meet Holger Roon (9 ATP) in the semifinals. The Dane defeated Danylo Medvedev (5 ATP) in two sets.

The Monte Carlo tournament will take place from April 9 to 16 on clay, with a total prize pool of €5,779,335. The champion of the last two events is Stefanos Tsitsipas, while Rafael Nadal is the authoritative leader in terms of trophies won: 11.
