
Additional routes on the Athens suburban railway, in particular on the Athens-Megara-Athens and Athens-Kiato-Athens routes, will be added from tomorrow, M. Paraskevi, 14.04.
In particular, according to information from Hellenic Train, from 04/14/2023 commuter routes to and from Kiato and Megara will circulate as follows:
On the route Athens – Megara – Athens:
From Athens: 06:35, 08:35, …, 20:35 (even times, XX:35′)
From Megara: 07:29, 09:31, 11:31, …, (odd hours, XX:31′ except first)
On the route Athens – Kiato – Athens:
From Athens: 05:35, 07:35, …, 21:35 (odd hours, XX:35′)
From Kiato: 05.29, 07.31, 09.31, …, 21.31 (odd hours, .XX:31′ except first)
It is clarified that in connection with the introduction of new routes, from Friday 04/14/2023, the routes on the Piraeus – Magula section have been replaced with the ones indicated above.
It should be noted that for passengers from and to Kiato and Corinth and for their better service, there is also a bus connection to Megara station (bus line on the Megara – Kiato section and intermediate stations, except for Zevgolati.
Reservations are required for buses, including for holders of unlimited travel cards.
Hellenic Train with new announcements will inform about the routes that will be gradually added to the timetable.
