Novak Djokovic knocked out by Lorenzo Musetti at ATP Monte Carlo
The main favorite of the tournament, Serbian Novak Djokovic, failed to overcome the much less famous Lorenzo Musetti (21 ATP).
The first set belonged to Djokovic, who won after several missed set points.
In the second set, both players lost a total of nine services, and the Italian managed to win to the tiebreak.
The deciding set was halted by rain at 1-1 and the restart was a fluke as world number one Novak Djokovic battled to the end after leading 5-3, managing to claw back but not enough to avoid an upset even though Musetti missed three match balls.
