Garbiñe Muguruza will no longer be coached by Conchita Martinez

Conchita Martinez announced on Wednesday that she will no longer coach the former world leader. The collaboration between the two began in 2019, but they also worked together at Wimbledon 2017, which Muguruza won in the absence of coach Sam Sumyk.

Conchita Martinez (50) won Wimbledon (1994) and reached the finals of the Australian Open (1998) and Roland Garros (2000). Iberica also coached Karolina Pliskova (2018, 2019) and captained the Spanish teams in the Fed Cup (2013-2017) and Davis Cup (2015-2017).
