New Year’s Eve 1932 in Berlin and a group of artists getting ready to celebrate are chosen by the American writer Tony Kushner for his play “House as Bright as Day”. Directed by Yannis Moschos. As part of the 8th Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art in Greece, the first retrospective exhibition of the Greek-Canadian photographer Christos Dikaikos (pictured) continues. The exhibition MoMus – Museum of Photography of Thessaloniki presents a series of photographs of the last five decades of his work. The whiteness and luster of porcelain is used by the artist Liana Papaleksi to create her sculptures. Inspired by one of the most famous fairy tales, Alice in Wonderland, she names her own work Porcelain Land, a hyper-realistic installation at the Astrolabos-Dexameni art gallery.
