Kenza Del, who was the ball boy during the duel between the two champions, spoke about the emotional incident during the final.

She chose an unexpected way to encourage her pet, and her gesture was not without reward.

“In 2011, I was a kid playing goal and I was playing X and 0 on clay with another guy, even though it was illegal.

We were both fans of Roger, and in a difficult moment for him, I decided to write Allez Roger, and a photographer captured the moment. He happened to know Federer’s agent and sent him a photo.

I think Roger liked it and decided to thank me by sending a gift a few weeks later. I only learned the whole story when I received the gift.

And the gift was a t-shirt, in which he was in the final of Roland Garros 2011 against Nadal, with his signature.
