The Kenswick Mountains Rescue Team in the UK said they were called last Saturday to help a group of young people who were consuming magic mushrooms.
Two of the group felt very ill and had to be taken to the valley and given medical advice.
The rescue operation lasted two hours and involved 11 people.
The representative said: “The rescue was a very difficult case. Several calls were made by passers-by who encountered a group of young people who had eaten hallucinogenic mushrooms. Two of them felt unwell, including the driver. They had to be lowered to a lower point in order to receive instructions from the doctor to continue on their way.
Magic mushrooms, which can cause hallucinations and nausea, are class A drugs, which means that possession or sale is prohibited.
